Sandip Sen is the Global CEO of Aegis Limited. Before joining Aegis, Sandip founded his own company, Customer First Services, one of India’s first BPO companies, which was acquired by Aegis in 2006.
For more than seven years, Sandip has made vital contributions to the Aegis growth story. He has been instrumental in building the global business for Aegis in countries like India, the US, South Africa, Australia, Philippines, and the UK, and has added blue chip clients to the Aegis stable, apart from launching the Essar marketing and brand campaign.
Global Chief Financial Officer
CM Sharma is the Global Chief Financial Officer and Chief Ethics Officer of Aegis, and oversees the company’s worldwide M&A strategy, corporate finance, business planning, investor relations, accounts, treasury, taxation and legal functions. Mr Sharma brings with him more than 23 years of experience in the area of corporate finance in various industries, including BPO, chemicals, textiles, steel and electronics.
Mr Sharma is a key member of Core Team who engineered a spectacular growth story interwoven with organic and inorganic wins. He was also instrumental in Aegis completing 16+ successful acquisitions in a short span of 5 years, resulting in larger than expected returns.
Prior to joining Aegis, Mr Sharma was the CFO of Colwell & Salmon, a BPO company with facilities in New York and Delhi. He has also worked with GHCL Limited, a leading soda ash producer and textile manufacturer in India. Mr Sharma has significant experience in turning around startup companies by increasing margins through controlling and re-engineering costs. He has also been instrumental in conducting successful M&A transactions across the globe.
Mr Sharma is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has completed the Leadership Development Program of IIM, Kozhikode, and is COPC-certified in high performance management techniques.
Mr Sharma has been awarded the CFO of the Year for Excellence in Mergers and Acquisitions by IMA India in 2010. He has also been awarded CFO of the Year in the Service Sector category for the year 2010 and CA Global Business Achiever in 2011 by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for his exceptional performance and achievements. CM Sharma is the latest recipient of the CFO100 Award for “Winning Edge in Strategy” from the CFO India magazine in 2011.

S.M. Gupta steers the Human Resource function at Aegis as the Global Chief People Officer. He brings with him over 24 years of HR experience across IT, ITES, Telecom, Retail, Oil and FMCG sectors, managing diverse and dynamic functions of People Management, Human Resource Re-engineering, Talent Development and Training.
Through his strategic vision, astute decision making and unmatched execution, he has enabled and inspired innovative people strategies, policies and programs for Aegisites across 12 countries. Under his leadership, Aegis was successful in integrating more than 8 companies across 6 geographies, and today, he is building an institution by bringing 55,000 plus happy people together.

Rahul Kamalakar is a core team member for Aegis executive management and comes with 27 years of technology industry experience.
He joined Essar Aegis in 2005 as head of IT Transition and has played global lead role in driving allstrategic technology initiatives for CLM business. He architected Aegis “anytime, anywhere, any process” IT delivery model andis responsible for IT service delivery for CLM business across all geographies.
Mr Kamalakar is based in Dallas, Texas.
After starting his career with Wipro, he went on to work in senior leadership roles for multinational companies including IBM Global Services and Computer associates.In April 2000, Mr Kamalakar joined California-based BPO start-up venture, 24/7 Customer, as a founding employee. He led the service operations for clients like Convergys, Citibank, Cendant Corp, Microsoft, MBNA and FedEx (Europe). Mr Kamalakar was a key executive member handling transitioning services for Aviva, a leading European insurer.
President - Global M&A and Strategic Initiatives
Sudhir Agarwal, Director- Essar Services India Limited, was one of the founding members of Aegis Limited (An Essar Enterprise) in 2005. He brings with him over a decade and a half of BPO experience in Operations, Migrations, Training, Client Management and Business Development. His vast experience across multiple verticals and business units has been an instrumental force in growing Aegis from a mere 5 member team in to more than 57,000+ today.
He has, over this period, managed and given strategic direction and guidance to teams across Centres in India, South Africa, Australia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Middle East and Europe. He has been a key driver in getting Aegis recognized for the award of Business Innovation conferred by NASSCOM in 2008 from among 6 finalists. Under his leadership, Aegis was recognized as Best Value Partner for Customer Support Service Category for 2008 for one of the largest telecom providers and ranked 4th among the top 20 BPO companies in India for the year 2010 on the basis of the measurement of employee satisfaction
He holds an MBA from Manchester Business School, UK, in Strategy and International Business. He joined Aegis from GENPACT (GECIS), where he held various leadership positions and was responsible for setting up the Remote Marketing Business for GENPACT Global across India, Hungary and China. At Essar, Sudhir’s role is two folds, as Director Essar he drives Strategic Relationship Management across the group. At Aegis he is responsible for M&A and Strategic Initiatives to grow the company via an inorganic route.
An interesting orator, Sudhir has been invited to speak at various forums like the Wharton India Economic Forum at Philadelphia for two consecutive years of 2010-11, the Aspect BPO CXO Xchange roundtable in Hongkong, 2010 and Silicon India Leadership Summit in New Delhi in Nov 2010.
An avid golfer, he has been a member of the India Golf Team- Juniors, won various Corporate Golf Tournaments in India & Participated in the India World Corporate Golf Tournament in Mauritius.
Managing Director & CEO, AGC Networks
Satya K Jha (popularly called as SK) currently steers Aegis Global's technology business as the Managing Director and CEO of AGC Networks Ltd. As India's leading solutions integrator in enterprise communication, AGC Networks is the Technology Services vertical of Aegis limited, an Essar enterprise.
Mr. Jha has over 18 years of experience in the areas of systems integrations, operations, sales and marketing of IT and telecom solutions, and strategic business planning.
Mr. Jha founded 3D Networks. The company provided IT and telecom services to clients across India, MEA and USA. 3D Networks was acquired by Wipro in 2006. Before joining Aegis, Mr. Jha served as the Vice President of Wipro Limited.
Mr. Jha holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. Mr Jha is known for his dynamism and passion for excellence and has a collaborative leadership style. He is a recognized leader and has the ability to nurture teams and drive businesses.
President - North America & President - Global Quality & Customer Experience
Peter Bloom is responsible for all quality initiatives worldwide, and is driving the uniform quality strategy across all Aegis locations. He was appointed to this position in 2011. Prior to joining Aegis, Bloom was the president and co-founder of Customer Operations Performance Center (COPC, Inc), the world's leading authority on operations management and performance improvement for customer contact center and BPO services.
Before co-founding COPC, Bloom was a partner at Mercer Management Consulting and the COO of several manufacturing companies. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of Massachusetts.
President - CLM Business, ASEAN & MEA Region
Rajiv Ahuja In the five years before he joined Aegis, Rajiv headed AOL’s captive center in Bangalore and also managed the performance of AOL’s partner sites in India. His previous assignments include heading Dell's US Consumer Care Division in India as well as serving as the India COO of vCustomer, a large third party BPO. Rajiv also spent eight years in the Indian Army, where he was part of the Special Forces training team in the Commando Wing.
Overall, he has 29 years of work experience. He received an honors degree in commerce from St Xavier's College in Calcutta and a certificate in international management from Stanford University and National University of Singapore.
Chief Operating Officer – Philippines, CLM Business
Upendra Singh is the Chief Operating Officer, CLM Business for the Philippines region and comes with over 25 years of experience across general management, sales, and operations with Fortune 100 and Greenfield BPO entities in the US, India, Australia, and the Philippines. Upendra was a founding member of Wipro Spectramind as well as Quattro BPO Solutions; he then became SVP and Head of Global Service Excellence with Sutherland Global Services.
Starting with American Express in 1986, Upendra was Director of Operations and Head of the MIS for the Japan, Asia Pacific, and Australia (J/APA) region at the Regional Operation Center in Sydney, Australia, till 2000. He was honored with the ‘Chairman’s Award for Quality’ on three different occasions and with the ‘Great Performer’ award for Excellence in Customer Service.
Upendra holds a degree in economics (honors) from the Delhi University. He is currently based in Manila, Philippines.
Chief Operating Officer – India & Sri Lanka, CLM Business
Sandeep Gulati is a multi-faceted leader and comes with over two decades of extensive experience in diverse functions such as contact centermanagement, strategic planning, project management and execution. Sandeep leads the Aegis Customer Lifecycle Management business for India and Sri Lanka and he has successfully turned it around as one of the most profitable GEO’s for Aegis today.
Sandeep was instrumental in rolling out the Global Command Center (GCC) initiative, which is a first-of-its-kind from concept to design and execution. This Proactive Intelligence (Pi) is a state-of-the-art business intelligence tool which provides real-time updates data to visually interactive dashboards to decipher actionable intelligence insights. This is a comprehensive solution that materializes the imagination of every global business leader to deliver an unparalleled business management experience.
Prior to joining Aegis, Sandeep had worked with Dell where he held various leadership positions in operations and strategy. As a core team member, he was responsible for rolling out Dell’s India Contact Center Operations. He also spearheaded Dell’s initiative of turning the contact center from a cost to a profit center. For this successful initiative, he was recognized among the Top Global Talents at Dell.
Sandeep has held Leadership roles within Operations, On/Near/Off shoring & BPO, Strategic Marketing, M & A, & ‘Green Field’ LEAN business builds & business turnarounds. He is inspired by roles where ideas and opportunities are converted into industry practices and as a professional he has successfully incubated such ideas into profitable business ventures. One such venture was Renasonic E-solutions which grew to a 600 plus people organization and was acquired by a Dubai based group.

Executive Vice President - Sales, India & Sri Lanka, BPO Business
Ajay is a highly qualified seasoned professional with cross functional experience of more than 17 years in BPO, Consumer Durables, IT and Office Automation industries of which last 12 years have been in BPO space. A veteran in BPO with expertise in Business Operations entailing business development, entering into new markets / business verticals, driving revenue growth, optimizing operations, and reducing costs with proven abilities in managing and motivating large teams for running successful business operations.
In his current role in Aegis, Ajay heads Sales, Client Relationships, Revenue Assurance, Transition and Technology functions for India BPO business, is Global Practice Head for Social Media & Analytics, and is Global Sales Head for Back Office.
Before joining Aegis, Ajay was a stakeholder and Executive Director in Orion Dialog, a domestic BPO which was acquired by Aegis in early 2006 marking Aegis’ entry in India market. As a part of management team, he was handling Operations, Transition and Technology functions, and was significantly responsible for its growth from being small start up to a large premium player in Indian BPO market.
Ajay’s earlier stints were with Voltas, Pitney Bowes(through their exclusive distributor Bradma) and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Ajay holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Masters in Business Administration.
Senior Vice President - Sales, South Africa, CLM Business
Kobus Van der Westhuizen serves as Country Head and Senior Vice President Business Development for Aegis BPO Holdings South Africa (Pty) Limited, a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of Aegis Global. Mr Van der Westhuizen was a member of the start-up management team of three of the company in 2009. He was instrumental in successfully acquiring the CCN Group in October 2009, moving Aegis BPO Holdings South Africa to a position of market leader in South Africa.
In his dual role, Mr Van der Westhuizen has overall operational responsibility for the growth and sustainability of Aegis in South Africa. His responsibilities include various aspects of corporate strategic planning and business development. Mr Van der Westhuizen has made meaningful contributions to the company’s current business strategy, driving strategic initiatives in the areas of market penetration, operational excellence, organisational development and transition, adding competitive advantage. He has led and grown Aegis BPO Holdings South Africa to its current size of 13 contact centers and 1,700 employees in two years.
Mr Van der Westhuizen has extensive experience and knowledge of the global contact center outsourcing landscape and has been involved in contact center operations in the US, the UK, South Africa, India and Philippines. He brings more than 22 years of industry experience to Aegis BPO Holdings South Africa.
Mr Van der Westhuizen served as a member of the Board of BPeSA and as a member of the BPO Steering Committee of Business Trust, playing an active role in raising awareness of the industry’s potential internationally and pushing for South Africa to be a destination of choice. He is considered one of the pioneering leaders in the BPO industry in South Africa.
Executive Vice President - Back Office Business
Mandeep Singh is the Global Practice Head of Finance & Accounting and HR Services. He is also leading the global implementation of SAP HR and finance ERP for the organization. In addition to this, he is driving re-engineering initiatives in the finance and HR functions. Mr Singh brings with him 18 years of experience in the area of audit, consulting, M&A, operations management and feasibility studies.
Prior to joining Aegis, Mr Singh was the APAC Head of Finance Shared Services at Eaton Corporation, which has facilities in Pune and Shanghai. He also worked with GE Capital (now Genpact), the pioneer in the BPO space, where he was heading the financial accounting and reporting activities for the insurance and the equipment financing business arms of GE Capital.
Mr Singh is considered a start-up specialist, and has set up three shared service centers from scratch, to date. He has considerable experience in re-engineering functions and processes, and developing technology-enabled solutions, which has helped customers save millions of dollars.
Mr Singh is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and also Cost and Work Accountants of India, and is also COPC-certified in High Performance Management Techniques. He is a certified trainer on change management, hiring the right people, facilitation skills and controllership.

Irendra Chhabra heads Aegis Spend Management Services and leads Global business development teams for full range of Shared Services including Financial and HR Shared Services.
An MBA in Marketing and Materials Management, Irendra has rich and varied experience of 23years working in cross functional roles and leading successful operations across diverse sectorsi.e Retail, Telecom, Pharma, FMCG.
Irendra brings significant expertise in leading emerging start-ups and successfully ramping up the operations to sustainable state within aggressive timelines. A record of sorts, he was instrumental in rolling out 1300 mobile stores 200 cities across India in short span of 18 months for Essar group’s The Mobile Store.
Irendra’s hands on leadership style backed with keen strategic sense, has led Spend management Services to an aggressive growth path in a short span of one year. Today, Aegis Spend Management practice has its operations across India, Middle East, ANZ and Asia Pacific.
Irendra is driving a long term strategic roadmap and orchestrating global sales motions to enhance Shared Services customer base and global engagement footprint.
His wide exposure and understanding of client needs across India, Middle East, Africa, ANZ , North America markets and the consultative client pursuit approach have led to identification of significant growth potential for the high margin, annuity based engagements for the Shared Services business.
In his previous stint with Essar for over 5 years, he played a key role in Business development, operations and Supply chain management for Essar Spacetel, Essar Telecom Infrastructure, and The Mobile Store.
Irendra has been a key speaker and facilitator at key global shared services and spend management conferences including Shared Services Outsourcing Network in Africa, CFO Roundtable in Middle East etc.

Clifton Critchlow leads the company’s sales efforts in the retail, energy & utilities, media & entertainment, manufacturing,and banking verticals. He has more than 26 years of experience in business process outsourcing. Prior to joining Aegis he was an EVP of Business Development for Teleperformance. Prior to Teleperformance, Clif had a 20 year career at Convergys in executive sales and marketing management positions. He was responsible for strategic partnerships, new market development, development of the sales organization, and domestic and international capture and growth of client business. Clif has served as the Vice Chairman of the American Teleservices Association Board of Directors, a Senior Council member of the Electronic Retailing Association, and was a founding member of the Broadcast Council of the Direct Marketing Association

Glenn Dispenziere leads Aegis’ business development efforts in the telecommunications, travel &hospitality, technology,and healthcare verticals.He has 25 years of experience in outsourcing and consulting. Prior to joining Aegis in 2011, Mr. Dispenziere was VP Salesfor Convergys where he led a team of 12 sales professionals to consistent growth. Before that he was head of sales for Etelecare Global Solutions, a partner with Accenture and other leading companies.
Chief Relationship Officer, North America
Neeti Khaitan has worked in various positions in organizations centered on telecommunications, customer service and BPO operations. Prior to taking on the role of Chief Relationship Officer for the Aegis Communications Group in Irving, Texas, Ms Khaitan was the Chief Executive Officer and President of e-Telequest, a call center company in Phoenix, Arizona. She has experience in the areas of business development, strategic planning and organizational effectiveness. Ms Khaitan played a key role in Qualcomm’s entry into the Indian market.
Ms. Khaitan has served as an off-shoring and outsourcing consultant to the China Call Center Committee, where she has advised government officials on off-shoring and outsourcing policies. Her memberships include the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), the Dallas Round Table, and she is a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE). Ms. Khaitan sits on the board of the American India Foundation (AIF) Dallas, and the Greater Dallas Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (GDIACC). She is a founding member of the South Central Board of the American Teleservices Association (ATA) and a key executive of the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University.
